How do you change the frame rate?

I have a series of stills I am stringing together so that when played
it looks fluid. In other words, the same as any movie, but what I am
doing is a little animation or claymation type stuff. I have taken
pictures moved the subject just a little so that when strung together
it appears to move - you get the idea.

When I put them in MovieMaker 2, It works, but it plays the frames so
slow that it doesn't look right. How can I get the frames to play
quicker so that the animation looks right?

Thank you.

Hi there,

Use the effect that doubles the speed of each frame...its cumulative so you
can add the effect several times. The problem is caused by the editing
environment having a minimum resolution of 8 frames...so you need to double
the apparent speed three times.

You can also change the default duration for images by going to the Tools
menu, and clicking on options. Adjust the "picture duration" down to 0.125
seconds. This may be fast enough, if not, John's idea below is good - and
you'll only need to add the "Speed Up, Double" effect once or twice.

An easy way to add it to all your pictures, is to select all of them on the
storyboard, right click on the Speed Up, Double effect, and select "Add to
Storyboard".

Hi there,

That's good (0.125 duration) I have never needed it, I use other software
for frame by frame manipulation, but I did not know about that. Neat !!
