How Do You Change the Default Location for the Storage of .pst

Hello,

How do you change the default location that Outlook stores for .pst in the
default profile Outlook Today (Personal Folder) ? I want to save the .pst on
a server and have Outlook update the .pst on the server instead of the local
machine. I have Outlook 2000 and XP.

Hi JYC,
I want to save the .pst on a server
This is not supportet by Microsoft.

How to move a PST?

You must close Outlook before you can move the PST. After you moved the PST
file to the server and if you start Outlook, Outlook will ask you for the
new location.

Better way to get a backup. Use a backup software and save the copy/backup
PST to the server:

Maybe it helps.
