How do you change the background color of selected email in the Inbox? I
know how to change the font etc.... When I click on an email in the Inbox, it
highlites it Blue. My color scheme is Black and grey. Everything works off
of this color setup (including the calendar) except the selected email/s in
the Inbox. How do I get this color to change. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK there is no way to change this. You can play with the color scheme and
maybe figure out which element affects it, but it will change the color for
more than just the message highlight.

As an exercise, right-click on the desktop, Properties, Appearance,
Advanced. There are a few window objects you can adjust there but not
many. PC Magazine had their DisplaySet utility that let you change
the attributes of more window objects. Unfortunately, they changed to
requiring a subscription to get at their downloads. So, yeah, their
utilities are "free" but you have to pay to get access to them (so
they've proven themself liars in another sense beyond them simply
re-spewing a software author's blurb that they've been given to
present as their "review" of that product). You could Google around
for similar utilities. However, if you ever select a different
desktop theme then all those tweaked colorizations will vaporize.
