How do you change a word doc. to a PDF

I am trying to send a word document and make it a PDF. How do you do that on
word.
 
You need to install software that is capable of producing PDF documents.
Word does not have this ability (though for Word 2007 there is a
downloadable add-in).

Try PrimoPDF which is a free download and will do the job.

Just piggybacking on Graham's reply... Probably just a matter of semantics,
but your Word doc doesn't get "changed" to a PDF. The fact is that the doc
remains a doc but a *copy* is created in PDF format:)
