how do I view links in received messages

When I receive a message that contains a link, I click the link and it takes
me to a folder in my computer. How do I get it to take me to the link's
address.

Is the dialog called Locate Link Browser and is it requesting a .exe file?
Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE and try again. If that doesn't work, reset your
default Internet browser in Windows.
