How do I view email received before outlook was installed

I have just installed outlook. I used AOL Communicator before. When I set
up my email account all emails I had sent from AOL appeared in the sent items
folder but in the inbox I cannot see emails I received prior to set up. How
can I do this?

While I have no experience with using AOL, it's conceivable to me that the
AOL mail program moved them to your PC from the server and so you don't see
them in the IMAP account you set up to access the AOL server. That's a
question best asked in an AOL-oriented group.
