How do I use symbols (Umlauts) in Outlook Express (6)?

MS Office lets you type other language texts, using symbols by creating
macros. ("Shift", "Ctrl", or "Alt" plus letter. I'd like to be able to do
that in Outlook Express, V 6.
How do I do that?

Hi, Bill,
You can do this by using OFFICE OUTLOOK as your E-mail programm and set
WORD to edit your E-mail messages.
