how do I use recovery console?

When I try to boot my computer I get message saying NTLDR missing. How can I use recovery console to fix windows so that I cansave all my precious files

Hi,


From the Recovery Console, run "copy X:\I386\ntldr C:\", where "X" is
whatever drive letter is assigned your CD drive.
