How do I use my distribution list names in my letter greetings

Iwant to be able to useing my distribution list names to personalize my
letters. If the distibution list has 5 names on it I want the letter to be
sent personalized to each person For example. Distribution list if Friends
with 4 names. I want to sent to that distribution the same letter but the
Dear xxx would pick up each name from the distribution list.
