HOW DO I USE MERGE RECORD#TO NUMBER EACH PAGE PRINTED

printing stuff for school and i need to have a number i.e. invoice for each
page. this is a single page doc. for my daughters report on a survey sheet
each one must have a number for ref.
 
Hi Nanny,

You can use a MERGESEQ or MERGEREC field - both return numbers.
.. MERGESEQ returns the sequence number for this merge
.. MERGEREC returns the sequence number for the record, according to its
position in the data source.
