HOW DO I USE MACRO TO FIND REPEATING DATA FROM ANOTHER WORKBOOK

I currently enter data into a workbook but before I do that I need to check
if there on another workbook first. How can I get a pop up window to let me
know of a specific data was found in another workbook.
