How do I use a gif clipart in e mail?

I want to use an animated clipart (gif) in e mails. When I download the file
from the clipart site, it shows motion on my computer. However, when I
insert or copy the file into an e mail the file becomes stationary.
I am using Office 2003.

While composing it doesn't move. Does it move when you receive it (send a
test mail to yourself)

You are right! It does have the animation when it has been sent and also
when received. Thanks. Your answer completely answered the question
