how do I upgrade from outlook 2000 to 2007? Is it free?

I assumed that upgrading an email program was an easy thing to do. I can't
find a download site for outlook 2007. Is it possible to upgrade my email
program without having to buy it? If 2007 isn't an option are there any other
updated outlook programs that are for free?

Afraid no. You need to purchase Outlook. You are not able to download it for free and the only place where you are able to download it is at the MSDN Subscriber page which costs a Subscription.
