How do I turn on proofing options in Outlook 2003?

I recently had my Outlook upgraded to 2003, but all other Office programs are
2002. Word is still my editor. I have lost my proofing lines, or the green
and red squiggles, while composing messages. It has caused some embarrassing
grammatical instances. Please help!

I think Outlook and Word need to be the same vintage (eg both 2003 or both
2002) for that to work.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Sorry, but the versions of Word and Outlook must match for you to use those
functions. There are lots of 3rd party spelling/grammar correction tools you
can use instead -- see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/spell.asp for a few
choices or go to a site like Download.com and look for spelling tools there.

OK, now I have the same versions (2003). My squiggles are still not
cooperating. How do I turn them on?

Have you adjusted your options on the Spelling tab in Outlook Options?
