I have a new Dell Vista computer. I had a keyboard problem with my old XP
that turning voice off solved. I am running into this again with my new
computer but can't figure out how to turn voic recognition off. Help
anyone?
Vista's search feature and Help and Support are great. Click the start orb,
type speech and see that "Windows Speech Recognition" and "Speech
Recognition Options" pop up at the top of the column. Look around in there.
Vista is the first MS OS that has speech recognition as part of it. For XP
that came with an Office program. If you installed that version of Office
in Vista then check those settings as well.
There are Vista specific newsgroups for Vista questions. The analogous one
to this is
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general.
Here are all the vista newsgroups. It's always best to post to a newsgroup
specific to the OS and issue at hand.
