How do I turn off the Search feature???

Good Evening,

Each time that I left click on a file or folder to open, it opens to
"search" instead of opening to the file or folder.

When I right click the file or folder, at the top of the menu is "search"
then "open".
How can I change it so that when I click the file or folder it opens the
file or folder instead of searching the folder?

I had not had this problem before and this was changed without my knowledge.

Your Assistance is Greatly Appreciated...

Try MVP Doug Knox's fix here:

This problem occurs when you alter the "Drive" / "File Folders" entries via
File Types dialog, to add a "Command Prompt here" or "Print Directory"
feature for folders. (example)
