How do I turn off pop-up control?

My pop-up controller is limiting my access to links I
need. How do I turn it off or change what it blocks?

Most pop-up controllers have an "escape" key sequence.
By that I mean you press the key AND click the link.
Mine uses the "Ctrl-Click" method. See if that works
with yours. If not, use the Help feature and fin d out
what bypasses the pop-up controller.
