How do I turn off auto switching

I have a program that takes a long time to load, typically I switch to a different window to do something else while waiting, however, Windows keeps jumping me back to the one program because the progress counter changes. Is there a way to turn off this feature in Windows so it doesn't keep switching back and forth?

Hi MWinters,

There's a setting in tweakUI to control this, to prevent applications
from stealing focus. TweakUI is part of Windows XP Power toys.

Good luck, hope this helps
