How do I turn it off for good?

I've jused Ms Antispyware now for several days, but keep
getting popups, especially from update.org. Altho I know
in order to get rid of Update, I've got to turn off
Messenger, since I dnl'd this product, Messenger keeps
coming back on, bringing the popups with it. Is there a
way to keep MS Antispyware from starting up every day, so
I can just run it when I want to? I'd hate to get rid of
it, but I don't like it controlling my computer!

MS anti-spyware (MSAS) is *not* the cause of your stated issues.
