How do I transfer contacts from Outlook Express 6 to MS Off. outlo

I have been unable to transfer contacts from my outlook Express email acct.
to MS Office Outlook 2003 since I loaded Office 2003.
 
What happens when you try to export the contacts from OE using its File menu

Configure Outlook properly, then click File>Import and Export>Import
Internet Mail and Addresses>Next. Select Outlook Express, uncheck Import
Mail and Import Rules, click Next. Select the duplication handling you want
and click Finish.
