How do I tell Microsoft about false positives

I have an application that is fine, but is being recognised as coolwebsearch
and deleted. How do I get MS to change its database to recognise this?

It can be difficult for a user to judge a "application as fine"
nowadys....

Send a mail to the vendor of this application, probably support.
The vendor must then go to MS and explain this application.
