How do I start a download when the page opens in FP2003?

I want to keep track of how often people download my product, so instead of
just attaching the file to the download button, I want them to jump to a page
where I have a hit counter set up. I want the download to start automatically
when the page opens. The only way I could find to do this was to set a Go to
URL behavior, but I don't see a triggering event that would work other than
onmouseover. This works, but the problem is that every time they move their
mouse on the page, the download box comes up again. Is there something other
than behaviors that I should be using for this?

Thanks!

Have you checked with your host to see what server logs are available??

Much easier solution.

Unfortunately, my host says they don't provide server logs. I also think it's
kind of nice in general because you can thank people for the download on the
page. I know it's possible to do because I've seen it on other websites. I
just can't find an "on page load" event or behavior in FP 2003.
