how do I show phone numbers in distribution lists

I want to modify my distribution lists so that more member information is
shown.
 
DL's have one purpose: to provide a group of electronic addresses to which
you can send electronic messages.
Containing phone numbers serves no purpose.
That's what the Contact Record is for.
