how do I set up my sympatico account in outlook.

i tried pop 3 as to set up hotmail. I thought they were the same. But it's
telling me I need authentication and I have to sign up and pay through MSN to
use it.

Sympatico is your ISP and nothing to do with Hotmail. Ask Sympatico how to
set up your mail account on their servers.
