How do I set up desktop alerts for a shared mailbox in Outlook?

When email comes into my own inbox, I get a desktop alert. I also check
shared mailboxes which (obviously) I share with other users. It would be
nice if I could get a desktop alert for messages coming into these mailboxes
too. Anybody know if this is possible? The shared mailboxes reside in
Public Folders, if this helps at all...
