How do I set up an Outlook resource for a recurring event?

Is is true that an Outlook resource cannot be booked as a recurring event?

When our admin. asst. tries to book our conf. room resource for a recurring
event she receive this message:

Conf Room has declined your meeting because it is recurring. You must book
each meeting separately with this resource.

Simply access the ressource mailbox and on the menu TOOLS/OPTIONS/CALENDAR
OPTIONS/ button: RESOURCE SCHEDULING checkmark both options:"Automatically
accept meeting requestand process cancellations" and "Automatically decline
conflicting meeting requests" and make sure to UNCHECK the option:
"Automatically decline recurring meeting requests"
