How do I set up a profile?

When I am setting up a profile in order to see my company's proprietary email
in Outlook 2002, do I use the POP3 type? If so, what do I type in the ingoing
and outgoing text boxes? I've tried to type in mail. ... .org, and when
testing, it says everything works, and an e-mail is sent to my e-mail
address. However, when I open the profile in Outlook, no messages are
displayed. What am I doing wrong?
 
Have you inquired of your work email admin how to set up your Outlook to
access company mail?
