How do I set up a Header & Footer 'auto text'?

I'm trying to create an auto-text entry for my company letter head, and I
can't for the life of me figure out how to get the header and footer into
Autotext? Will I need to create a template instead (and how)? Please help!

I agree with Graham. Although it should certainly be possible to create
headers and footers as AutoText entries (in the Header and Footer styles),
for this job you want a template, and
