How do I set up a daily analyasis of cash handling of employees

I need a formula or chart to find a common denominator of employees with
shrtages and overages on registers.
 
The chart would be relatively easy. You could chart a range of
overages/underages.

The formula seems more problematic. How do you define common denominator?

It's probably best to post an example, and the results you want.
