How do I set RTF as default?

I am on Outlook 2000. When I create a new email message,
it defaults to plain text. I can change the format to
rtf using the Format tool but I have to do this for every
email I send. Is there anyway to force Outlook to always
Rich Text?

Go to Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format. Please note that RTF is not
supported by all mail clients (mainly only by Outlook) you might want to use
HTML format instead.
