How do I set PowerPoint page size to something greater than 56"?

I would like to create a 96" by 42" poster. PowerPoint will not let me
adjust the page size beyond 56". Is there a way to bypass this?

Hi Geoman,

PPT has size limitations, unfortunately. Might want to split your
design into two and go with the low-tech tape-up in back. Or just
simply hang two posters next to each other.

Geoman2001,

The trick is to set the page size in powerpoint to something that "matches"
the proportion of 96x42 inches

Such as 9.6 inches x 4.2 inches

or 48 inches x 21 inches

Then at print time, tell your printer driver - properties to "scale to fit
your paper size" or whatever your printer driver calls it
