How do I set birthday alarms?

In Outlook 2002, I have entered birthdays for some of my contacts. What can
I do to make Outlook give me a reminder message on the day of the person's
birthday?

I know how to set a reminder on a Calendar or Task item. But how do I set a
reminder on the birthday field in a Contacts item?
