How do I see what changed in a Word document?

Hi,

Is there any way I can see what changes were made to a document? I know
about track changes, but this wasn't on at the time the person made the
change..

Other than printing both documents out and comparing does anyone have any
idea??

If you have a previous (file) copy, you can use Tools | Compare and Merge
Documents.
