How do I save my send/receive settings

I want to keep my email on my server (comcast) for a couple of days. Every
time I change the settings on outlook to do this ... it reverts back to the
default setting which removes all the email from my comcast server. I
wouldn't care except that no emails come to my blackberry if outlook collects
the email from comcast before it can be collected by my blackberry.

Can anyone help me? I have changed the settings to the way I wanted them,
tried turning off the computer to help save it... it doesn't help. As soon
as you close outlook and reopen it it puts my changes back to the defaults.

When Outlook fails to remember settings, it's usually a sign that it's not
closing properly and thus fails to write the settings properly either to the
file or to registry entry where they're kept. Failure to close is caused by a
number of things. See this:
