I am constructing an ad to post in my area and want to run tear off
phone numbers across the bottom of page.

Are you using Microsoft Access to do this? If so, open your Report in
design view; on the View menu item, select "Page Footer". Size the
footer to match the size of the tear-off area and put labels (rotated)
with the phone number.

If you're doing this in Word... ask in a Word newsgroup. They all
begin with "microsoft.public.word".
