How do I run netmeeting desktop share in a terminal services sessi

Hi,

I have been trying to configure Win 2003 Terminal Server to allow me to log
into a terminal server session and share my desktop with a remote computer.
I wish to be able to do demo's of MBS Great Plains off my terminal server
without the prospect having to know anything other than to call me on
netmeeting.

What happens is that the netmeeting share program function is greyed out.

I know I can do it ok from the terminal server console but I really want to
do it from a terminal server session.

Please can someone help me with the right configuration settings I need to
make this happen.

I appreciate all the help I can get. I can also be reached at

Hey there

You can use NetMeeting on a terminal server, but can not use NetMeeting
application sharing. This is as a result of the way in which NetMeeting
application sharing gathers graphic data and this is incompatible in remote
desktop session.

Thanks for your help. I guessed as much but was not sure.
I will try find another solution. The problem with having to use PCAnywhere
is that the potential customer would have to buy it and install it before we
coul;d demo them the software. Netmeeting however, comes free with all new
windows systems and is really easy to set up. I am working on just using the
remote login and then doing a "control user" which seems like a reasonable
workaround.

Thanks again.
