How do I retrieve sent items from Yahoo mail in Outlook 2003

I have an @sbcglobal.net account and do most of my email online. I use
Outlook 2003 to archive/store my emails. I have used earlier versions of
Outlook and I don't remember having to do anything special to download the
'Sent' mail from my SBC Yahoo mail account to my Outlook 'Sent' folder. I
just started using Outlook 2003, I got it configured and it downloaded my
'Inbox' ok and my 'Spam' ok (I hadn't wanted it to download anything until I
pressed the F9, but it did it automatically once the account was set up).
Anyway, it didn't pull the items in my Sent folder. Is there some trick I'm
missing?

The POP3 protocol can only download the main Inbox folder. If you need to
get any other items from your online mailbox into Outlook, you'll have to
move it to the Inbox.

POP accounts CANNOT access any folders except your server Inbox. Yahoo Mail
has the added feature of including the Bulk E-mail folder as though it were
part of the Inbox, if you have that option enabled (it's configurable on the
server). Thus, there's no way Outlook can ever download the Sent folder on
the server and this has been true of ALL versions of Outlook.
