how do I restore the drop down menus to be non-tranparent?

I have made the drop down menus transparent and when using them in that
manner I find I am unable to see the menu instructions. Now I want to restore
it back to being bold and non tranparent, but am unable to so far. Help please
 
Try right clicking on any menu/toolbar and selecting customize. go to
options tab. i think you are after the settings at the bottom of the
dialog.
