Missing Drop Down Menus from Outlook 2007

The drop down menu for File and Edit has dissappeared. I need the File menu
so I can import and export files to share with others in my office. I have
uninstalled Office and reinstalled and the menus are still not available. I
have tried to reset my toolbars and that does not do anything for me. Any
advice will be greatly appreciated.

Close Outlook. Make sure you are able to view hidden files and folders (use
Windows Explorer to do this). Search for the outcmd.dat file and rename it.
Open Outlook to see if that helps. Let me know!

Whatever you want. I usually keep it simple, such as outcmd.dat_old. That way
I can easily restore it if I've made a terrible blunder, without having to
guess at what I renamed it to.
