how do i resize a page

I have a 2 page doc with only three lines on the 2nd page. I need to resize
it to 1 page. I have tried the Home-paragraph-decrease indent, Page
layout-orientation, and Margins-narrow.

Did I miss something> Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
