How do I reset the local security polices to their original state?

Ive been a bad boy and been playing with my local security policies to
make the machine more secure, and since doing so, my VPN in and out of
the office to and from home has died. Im sure its something to do with
the security policies (it may even be on the domain controller) and
need to fix it without re-installing xp.

Any ideas anyone?

Open IE (Internet Explorer)>Tools>Internet Options>Security tab
Click the Default button>Apply and OK
