How do I reply with original email account

I have 3 email accounts. With Outlook Express the replies always had the
address the original email was sent to in the from line, but Windows Mail is
putting the default email account in the from line of the reply.

email1 <default>
email2
email3

When I reply to an email sent to email3, the reply has email1 in the from
line until I change it. Is there a way to set Windows mail to use the
original account?

I can't duplicate your issue. I have nine email accounts, and when
I do a reply, it always picks the email address associated with the
account which downloaded that message.

Is your antivirus program scanning incoming email?

I have Norton Internet Security 2007. It is set to scan the incomming and
outgoing messages.

I would say that is your problem.
Norton intercepts the email and when OE gets the email it doesn't know from
which account the mail came.

I second what Ron said.
Windows Mail is very sensitive to interference from certain antivirus
programs. Read http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
If you have McAfee or Norton antivirus, uninstall it. Reboot and try
Windows Mail again. Once you get your email working properly,
download and install a less troublesome antivirus program such as the
free Avast. Whichever antivirus program you keep, be sure to
disable its email scanning option.
