How do I remove smart finder spyware?

Smart finder spyware has invaded my computer and hyjacked
my IE browser search engine and home page.I have been
unable to remove it using ad aware or spybot. The removal
instructions on their web page do not correspond with that
I find in my registry.

If you don't want to continue using smart-finder, follow
instruction below:
Click "Start" -> "Run"
Type "regedit" and click OK.
In navigation tree go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\SharedTaskScheduler
Then delete all keys at the right panel (just click on it
and press Delete key)
Then go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\classes\CLSID\{3F143C3A-1457-
6CCA-0A7-7AA23B61E40F} and delete all keys too.
Restart your PC.
Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ folder.
Find file mtwirl32.dll and delete it.
If you not sure that you can make it yourself, you can
download a small software:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\SharedTaskScheduler.

Please help me remove this annoying spyware.

Have you tried HiJackthis! it will list everything runing and where it is located.. Make backup of registry prior to delteing stuff. you can get hijackthis! here: http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.htm

I remove what I think is the spyware but I must be missing
something because it keeps comming back.

I use hykack this to remove any file containing
http://nkvd.us/ but I must be missing something.It keeps
comming back.This spyware sucks.

in ie,tools,options,advanced,uncheck"enable third party
browser extensions,apply. and also uncheck both 'install on
demand',apply. remember to update spybot and ad-aware
before scan. or use a better browser only 'firefox' from
mozilla.org
this problem is a varient of cool web search
