unable to deleteprogram with windows add/remove feature

Hi, I downloaded a program called PC Speedscan pro, however, I decided
against using it but now find I am unable to delete it from my computer.

I havesearched on here for a sulution, but so far without unsuccess.

I did try doing the following,but was unable to locate the programin the list,

Microsoft Community Newsgroups
news://msnews.microsoft.com/

Start>Run>Regedit>Ok
now navigate to the following key:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Each application present in the Add or Remove programs has a
subkey.Right click on the desired subkey and delete.
Close the registry editor.

Assuming it's not in the Add/Remove programs list
either. Try scanning your files and folders using a date
range for the day you downloaded Speedscan.

Start/Search/All file and folders/
All or part of the file name: *.*
More advanced options/Specify dates:

Check the scan results for any new folder names,
ActiveX files, .exe files etc. created on the date you
downloaded.

You can also try a 'Restore Point' created before
you downloaded Speedscan.

you may want to try " perfect uninstaller " .
it's free and has worked for me many times
when i could not remove items with " add/remove " .

highlight each of the entries with the long strings of numbers on the left
and look on the right-side pane to see what it is. When you find the one
for the target program, highlight its Uninstall string. Double-click it to
get its value and copy the value. Now do Start>Run>cmd [enter] to get the
command prompt. Paste the value in there. Hit [enter] to start the
uninstallation process. OR...

3. Use the free version of Revo Uninstaller -http://www.revouninstaller.com/
Be extremely *careful* using Revo; it's a good program but you can remove
more than you should in the registry with it and then there will be Tears
Before Bedtime. OR...

4. Reinstall the program and then uninstall it. OR...

5. Contact the program's mftr. for tech support for their program.

Some programs do not create registry entries and you simply delete them vice
uninstalling.

I gave you five ways to deal with the issue. Try one of the other four. Or
perhaps Mr. Badour is correct and the Mystery Program didn't make any
registry entries.

Since you're still stalking myself and others in your sig, it should be
fine to point out that you've exposed yourself as the PIRATE/THIEF we
all have said you are.

The file you claim to have known about, claim to have submitted to anti-
virus sites, the file named "obatssrsghde.exe" was a marker inserted
into Stuarts batch file you stole from him, it was is a KEY that proves
you're a thief:

For those that don't know, Stuart inserted the obatssrsghde.exe marker
into his batch file to prove, to the community, that PCBUTTS1 / The Real
Truth MVP is actually a lying thief, and PCBUTTS admitted in his own
post that he created the marker and claimed to know what it was - even
claimed to have submitted the malware to anti-virus vendors, but the
joke was on him, Stuart told everyone in the community about it BEFORE
it appeared in PCBUTTS1 download.... There is no actual file named
obatssrsghde.exe in the malware community, it was a ruse.

The key is in the spelling:

obatssrsghde.exe
pcbuttsthief

If you change (add) 1 character to each letter you will see that
"obatssrsghde" is actually the marker "pcbuttsthief" - proving that
PCBUTTS1 is a thief.

Are there other markers - YES, does PCBUTTS1 know about them - know,
they've been there for a long time, but this is the most obvious one.

Face it Chris/PCBUTTS1/TRT, you've exposed yourself in public.
