How do I remove "please select the operating system to start" screen?

Tim

I upgraded from Windows 98 SE to XP, and it does work, but
there's a problem- more of an annoyance, actually. When I
boot the computer I get a screen saying, "Please select
the operating system to start." It gives me 2 choices - 1)
Windows XP (the top one that will load when the time
expires) or 2) Windows, which I presume refers to Win 98
which I uninstalled. Selecting this second choice only
gives a bunch of missing file errors or something. Really,
what I'm asking is, how do you remove this screen so XP
starts automatically?

Thanks!

1. Go to Start > Run and type in: MSCONFIG , and hit enter,
2. Click the BOOT.INI tab.
3. Next, click "Check All Boot Paths".
4. This procedure should correct your BOOT.INI file.
