how do I remove picture tools from a page?

I am going a photo book and several pages go the picture page and I can not
delete the page or remove the connection to picture tools. How do I correct
this problem?

I'm having difficulty understanding what you are trying to do. I think you
are trying to make a photo book with Word, correct? Since Word doesn't
really do pages, you will have to delete everything on that sheet to delete
it. I have no idea what you mean by remove the connection to picture tools.

The reference to Picture Tools suggests that John is using Word 2007. When
you click on a "picture" in that version, the contextual Picture Tools tab
is displayed on the Ribbon. To delete the page, one would presumably have to
delete the picture on the page.
