How do I Remove duplicate "Personal Folder" in Outlook

I had a problem with my computer that forced me to reinstall Microsoft
Office. Now my Outlook shows 2 sets of "Personal Folders" which are obviously
duplicates because they keep being updated, i.e., what happens on one shows
in the other. I can live with this but esthetically would like to remove the
duplicate. The program does not allow me to delete that kind of folder. How
can I remove it otherwise?
Thanks for any assistance.

Open Outlook, click on "folder list". Under your list of folders, you will
see "Folder Sizes" and "Data File Management..." Click on the latter,
hi-light the personal folder that you would like to delete and click
"remove". Make sure you do not remove the personal folder with the comment
"Mail delivery Location". It is always a good idea to copy your .pst file
first BEFORE performing the task. This should remove it.

Thanks for the advice. Sure sounds like the way to do it and now that I have
heard it, wonder why I didn't think of that. Thanks again.
