How do I remove a window

How do i remove a window that opens automaticly when i on
my computer and it has a big red circle with a white x on
it and the only button it has is ok on it?

Sounds like its in the startup folder (check start-programs-startup

OR
(Becareful doing this,if you're not comfortable in the registry get someone
else to do it for you, as it can render your PC unbootable if you do it
incorrectly)

In the registry
go to start - run
type regedit

then go to
Hkey_local_machine\software\microsfoft\windws\currentversion\run
(Anything under this registry key runs on startup)
