how do I reinstall IE 6?

I have been troubleshooting a problem, and the next step I am supposed to
try is "reinstalling IE"

I have winxp pro and the latest IE 6 - how do I reinstall explorer ?

Is there a way to do this without formating my hard drive and reinstalling
windows?
