How do I recover files from a deleted user account?

I created a user account and then moved some files into the new user's "My
documents" folder. Then I realized I didn't need the additional user
account, so I deleted it before I remembered I had moved files into the
directory. When deleting XP asked if I wanted to delete all files and
ofcourse I said 'yes', and now I'm trying to undo my mistake so I can
recover the files. Please let me know if anyone has any idea how to resolve
this, thanks.

Check the Documents and Settings folder. If the deleted user
profile is no longer in there, you're out of luck. You probably
are out of luck, sorry.
